HyperRESEARCH used in Ph.D. Dissertation on the Impact Experienced by Mentors of new Science Teachers
In "Working With 'Rookies' A Case Study of Science Teachers Mentors," Thomas Francis Meagher's disseration for his Doctor of Philosophy from the Graduate School of the University of Minnesota, HyperRESEARCH was utilised for coding a wide array of source materials - from MP3 audio recordings of interviews to downloaded on-line forum posts.
He notes in his dissertation that "By storing all coding information within HyperRESEARCH®, all transcript data was available for analysis." The dissertation study "seeks to share the impacts experienced by mentors through their work with new teachers and provide balance to the other side of research into the social partnership of mentoring."
