Hello,

I am testing out your software.  I applied a code to a sentence of my text in the Source window.  I then accidentally applied a second code to it.  How can I remove that second code from that bit of text?  I don't want to "re-code" it, since the correct code is already applied.  I don't want to delete the wrong code, since it has been correctly applied to other chunks of text.  In other words, is there a way to remove codes from chunks of text without needing to rename the code?

Sure. It's actualy pretty easy:

1. Find the code reference you want to remove in the source window, and click the code next to it (in the "Codes in Context" pane on the left side of the source window). This selects the text it's coded to, and also selects that code reference in the Study window (the square window at the left edge of the screen).

2. Choose Codes > Delete. You'll see a confirmation dialog box asking whether you want to delete the selected code reference: say OK.

This removes the code reference, but without affecting the source text or the code (in the Code Book) or any of the other references you've made with that code.
