Institutional Subscriptions

ResearchWare, Inc. offers institutional subscriptions for educational institutions interested in making HyperRESEARCH available to everyone within the institution, school, or department.

The Institutional Subscription License

The license includes all updates and upgrades for the software for the time period covered.

The Institutional Subscription allows you to install the software on any machines (Macintosh or Windows) used by the licensed population. This includes student-owned computers and faculty members' personal computers as well as any computers owned by that institution.

Note that a member's right to use the software expires when they leave the institution (graduates or drops out, moves to another position outside the instiution, etc.) so copies installed on personal computers rather than institution-owned computers should be destroyed when the user is no longer a member of the licensed population.

The license covers members of the licensed population only - no "outside" users of the software (faculty members from other departments/shcools within the University in the case of a license granted to a department or shcool rather than the University as a whole). Your institution is responsible for restricting access to the software only to licensed members of their population.

You get one license key for the software (two license keys if you are subscribing to both HyperRESEARCH and HyperTRANSCRIBE) which can be used for all installations of the software at your University.

For the complete license with all terms spelled out, please click here.

Pricing:

Pricing is based on the total member population size of your institution.

Pricing is in the form of an annual subscription, available with a 1-year term or a 3-year term. The latter locks the current annual subscription price in for those 3 years. The subscription fee will be billed annually for as long as your instutution maintains the subscription.

The first Annual Fee is due upon ordering the subscription. Your subscription fee will be invoiced annually thereafter, for as long as you maintain the subscription.

About our software:

We pride our software on ease-of-use (and also ease of learning!)

A few hours with the HyperRESEARCH software -- especially following the step-by-step tutorials provided as .pdf files with the software -- are all that's necessary to get up and running with HyperRESEARCH. (No costly workshops to learn the software!)

HyperTRANSCRIBE is even easier to use -- its user manual is all of 33 pages, with lots of pictures and large type!

And of course our software is cross-platform, working equally well on both Macintosh and Windows computers.
