Product Links

Product Links are one of three ways that Affiliates can promote ResearchWare products and recognize referral commissions. All Product links follow the same basic format:

http://esd.element5.com/product.html?cart=1&productid=ProductID&affiliateid=AffiliateID

You replace ProductID with one of the Commercial product ID numbers below and replace AffiliateID with your Affiliate ID number.

  • HyperRESEARCH (Product ID #300398106)
  • HyperTRANSCRIBE (Product ID #300414798)
  • HyperBUNDLE (Product ID #300420673)

So a complete URL to a product page and shopping cart link for HyperBUNDLE (ID# 300166163) for Affiliate ID #000000000 would look like:

http://esd.element5.com/product.html?cart=1&productid=300420673&affiliateid=000000000

You can create these product links manually or you can use the Affiliate Control Panel to generate the links (recommended). In the Affiliates Control Panel, select Products.

productlinks1a

Filter by “Partnership exists” or, if you are already an affiliate of multiple companies, filter by Publisher “ResearchWare” and click Display.

productlinks1b

For each product you wish to promote, click on “Generate product links.” This will provide you with the form shown below. You can select whether you want a link to the product page or order page, with or without shopping cart links. When you have selected your options, click the “Generate product links” button.

productlinks2

A “Results” box will appear providing you with the URL for the options you specified. Copy and paste this URL into your web site. You can also refer poternial sales to pages on the ResearchWare web site and earn commissions on any follow through sales thought General Links.
