Textbook to support Mixed Methods Courses

When considering a textbook to support courses on Mixed Methods - combining Qualitative and Quantitative research, you may wish to consider "Investigating the Social World with SPSS Student Version 14.0: The Process and Practice of Research, Vol. 11, Edition 5" by Russell K. Schutt. This text book covers both quantitative methods, utilizing a free student version of SPSS, and qualitative methods, using HyperRESEARCH. Sections have been added to the textbook on conversation analysis, ethnomethodology, case-oriented understanding, and visual sociology. A special section on computer-assisted qualitative data analysis introduces the HyperRESEARCH software that accompanies the text. The text is published by Sage Publication, ISBN 1412927374.

You can see more information about this text at Barns & Noble online by clicking here or at Amazon.com by clicking here.
