Scott Kinder - CEO

Scott is a member of the Academic and Research Support department at Boston College. In this role, he helps faculty members use technology for teaching and research. Scott additionally manages a suite of computer labs which offer high end digital video editing workstations, video-conferencing and classroom lab space to the Boston College community. Scott has recently accepted a position to teach two sections of WWW and Digital Media in Boston College's Communication Department. At ResearchWare, Scott's main interest is in continuing to keep HyperResearch a cutting edge researcher's tool with unparalleled ease of use.

Sharlene Hesse-Biber - Marketing

Sharlene is Professor of Sociology at Boston College. She is the author of Am I Thin enough Yet? The Cult of Thinness and the Commercialization of Identity, Oxford University Press, l996 which was selected as one of Choice Magazines' best academic books for l996. She is co-author of Working Women in America Split Dreaams (with Gregg Lee Carter) Oxford University Press, 2000 and co-editor of Feminist Approaches to Theory and Methodology: An Interdisciplinary Reader, Oxford University Press, l999. She has published widely on the impact of socio-cultural factors on women's body image. She is co-developer of HyperRESEARCH. She has written extensively on perils and promise of using computer-assisted software to analyze qualitative data.Her most recent co-authored article looks at the use of hypothesis-testing on qualtiative data( See: Social Science Computer Review, vl l8, No. 3, Fall 2000, pp. 320-328. ). Ann Dupuis - Chief Operating Officer, Technical Support

Ann has provided software testing, documentation, and technical support for HyperRESEARCH since ResearchWare was first incorporated in 1991. She also handles the administrative side of the company.

Richard Gaskin - Lead Programmer

Richard brings 18 years of programming experience to the team. As president of Fourth World Media Corporation, he specializes in rapid application development for all major operating systems. His passion for user-centered design contributes the HyperRESEARCH's continually expanding feature set while maintaining its reputation as the easiest-to-use tool in the qualitative market. Richard is an active member of ACM SIGCHI, the Association of Usability Professionals, and the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence.
